Why we built this

My name is Mark Hurson. I’ve spent over a decade in digital advertising — running campaigns, buying traffic, and watching the lead generation industry take contractors for a ride. The dominant model is broken: agencies charge retainers to run ads that stop the moment you stop paying, and lead brokers sell the same inquiry to four competitors and call it a “lead.” I’ve seen both sides of that equation, and neither works well for a small contractor.

The idea behind WeProvideLeads came from a simple observation: a website that genuinely ranks #1 in Google for “roofer Guelph” is worth real money — it sends consistent, high-intent homeowners month after month without an ad budget. Most contractors can’t build and rank those sites themselves. So we do it, and we route what they generate to one contractor per trade.

The idea behind WeProvideLeads is simple. Local home service websites that genuinely rank in Google are valuable — they bring in real homeowners with real projects. Most contractors don’t have the time or the specialised skill to build and rank those sites themselves, and the alternatives are poor: pay an ad agency for clicks that may never convert, or buy shared leads that four competitors are calling at the same time. So instead of selling clicks or reselling leads, we build the sites, rank them, and route the calls to one contractor per trade.

What we’ve built

WeProvideLeads owns and operates dedicated home service websites across Guelph, Waterloo, Cambridge, and Kitchener — roofing, electrical, HVAC, mold removal, basement waterproofing, junk removal, moving, fencing, drywalling, window replacement, interlocking, hydrovac, commercial cleaning, general contracting, driveway sealing, and more. Each is a standalone local website with unique content, local schema markup, a Google Business Profile, and Google Search Console verification. Several already rank at #1 or on Page 1 for their core search terms, and we publish those rankings openly because transparency is the whole point.

How we’re different

We’re not an ad agency and we’re not a lead broker. We don’t charge for clicks, we don’t lock you into a contract, and we don’t sell the same lead twice. One contractor per trade, and you only pay when a job actually closes — a percentage of the completed job value, nothing upfront. Inquiries come from homeowners who searched, found a real website, and chose to reach out. If that stops working for you, you cancel — no term, no penalty.

Where we operate

We started in Guelph and Wellington County, and have since expanded into Waterloo, Cambridge, and Kitchener, with more Ontario communities in progress. We deliberately don’t make promises about markets where we haven’t built inventory yet — the proof-based model only works if the sites are real and ranking, so we expand carefully, city by city and trade by trade.
